The FGT7-D Pot Light Cover is a dome-shaped, fire-resistant insulation cover that fully encloses recessed pot lights and downlights, creating a protective barrier between the fixture and attic insulation. Formed from dense, non-combustible mineral wool (rockwool fiber), the rigid dome seals the ceiling penetration to stop drafts and heat loss while keeping insulation safely off the fixture.

Installation

From the attic, centre the dome over the recessed fixture so the base sits flat on the ceiling, then install insulation directly over top. No tools, fasteners, or wiring changes required.
